How would you better Haiti if you had 40,000 white body bags left over and at your disposal? This is my predicament and I am willing to consider all answer no matter how ridiculous....

could you fill them with air and make them rafts for fishing? or tie them all together to make a continuous string of bags that could stretch to cuba? or recycle them at the nearest recycling plant?

i don't know how tough they are, but the best thing i can think of is maybe stitched together as roofs for tents. they should be pretty tough and non porous. probably a lot of work cutting them to shape and such though.

You could at least make a slip'n'slide out of some of them. Orphans slip'n'sliding on body bags is a serious juxtaposition.

With everyone sleeping on the ground, why don't you give to people to use as a moisture barrier to put sleeping bags, sheets and blankets on. The body bag would be the perfect size and shape. I will be gald to come help sometime. Let me know if there is a trip organized. 4/21/2010 09:26:51 am
